Q: I think I may have ADHD, but how do I know for sure?
A: Good question! We invite you to join us for a meeting or two, or check out our Resources page to learn more about ADHD. However with that said, if you are wondering whether or not ADHD is truly in the picture, we recommend talking to a healthcare professional (you can learn more about how to go about this on our Resources page as well).
Q: What should I expect from a meeting?
A: Expect laughter, real talk, and a bunch of women who totally get it. We’ll dive into ADHD-related topics - sometimes serious, sometimes lighthearted - and share strategies, experiences, and tips. It’s all about feeling heard, understood, and supported.
Q: I’m not officially diagnosed with ADHD, can I still join?
A: Absolutely! Whether you’re in the process of getting a diagnosis or just wondering if ADHD is part of your story, you are welcome here. This space is all about support, learning, and community, so don’t worry about labels - come as you are!
Q: Can I bring a friend or family member to meetings?
A: Yes, as long as they are female. Our focus is on supporting women with ADHD, we are all for having people around you who want to understand and support your journey. Just make sure they are ready for some ADHD-powered conversations.
Q: What kind of social events do you have?
A: We love getting together! Our social events are casual and fun, from coffee meet-ups to crocheting/knitting, or a walk in the park. There’s no agenda other than to connect and have a good time. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people who really understand where you’re coming from.
Q: What if I miss a meeting or can’t attend regularly?
A: Life happens! We get it. We’re not about perfection - just progress. If you can’t make it to a meeting, no worries - though we also offer an online format. You can always catch up with members in our Facebook group, at our social events, or just reach out when you need to chat. We’re a flexible, supportive bunch.
